Project Proposal

            I would like to create a presentation on vocal nodules, vocal polyps, and cancer of the folds. I want to focus specifically on the symptoms, causes, and treatments of these diseases individually. I will cover a broad range of treatments including surgery and natural treatments. I will use pictures and videos to show the variety of vocal disorders and how there are treated or digress. I will also show a variety of pictures or videos demonstrating different stages of these disorders.

Project Proposal

For my project I am going to explore the different "fach" of women's voices and how that translates into musical theatre.  I will look at the vocal demands, ranges, possible roles, and how one would train differently for each fach.  I want to see what the different classifications of fach are for classical versus musical theatre and see how I can combine them into one classification chart, or process that can determine women's voices and how to deal with each one differently.
